After your Jagua Appointment
Allow paste to dry completely.
After 3 hours, remove dried jagua paste over a sink using a towel or edge of a nail file, credit card, or dull butter knife.
If we taped it, remove tape.
Now wash the area under ROOM TEMPERATURE, RUNNING soapy water.
DO NOT PANIC! -- Your stain will barely be visible at this point, but will develop over the next 12-24 hours like a polaroid.
Aftercare for your Jagua Stain
Avoid hot water while allowing the stain to develop
Shower as usual, BUT prior to bathing, apply a waxy balm to keep water out. (Lip balm, coconut oil, etc.)
Note: For the first 24 hours, your jagua stain can transfer to other parts of your body. If we did your hands and/or arms, do not sleep with your hands on your face!
Your jagua stain will gradually fade over the next 2-3 weeks
